Rixis Dermatology is a physician-owned dermatology practice located in Columbus, Ohio, with an additional Dublin, Ohio, location in development. Founded by board-certified dermatologist Dr. Stephanie Fabbro, MD, FAAD, Rixis Dermatology provides comprehensive medical and surgical dermatology care with a focus on evidence-based, individualized treatment.
Our practice has experience participating in dermatology clinical research and is committed to advancing new therapies for patients with inflammatory, autoimmune, pigmentary, and other dermatologic conditions. Areas of clinical expertise include atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, vitiligo, hidradenitis suppurativa, acne, pruritus, cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, connective tissue disease, blistering disorders, and general medical dermatology.
Rixis Dermatology serves a diverse patient population across Central Ohio and maintains an active clinical database of patients with chronic dermatologic disease, including moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, vitiligo, and other conditions relevant to dermatology research. The practice is conveniently located near several major medical centers and has the ability to collaborate with local referring providers, including pediatric and specialty care networks, when appropriate.
Our site is designed to support efficient, patient-centered clinical trial participation. We have dedicated examination rooms, experienced dermatology clinical staff, access to standard dermatologic procedures and assessments, photography capabilities, phlebotomy coordination, and experience working with central laboratories, specialty pharmacies, and electronic regulatory systems.
Our team is committed to protocol adherence, timely communication, high-quality data collection, and creating a positive experience for research participants.
Specifically, our Main site at Clime Rd is over 3,000 sq ft and located in a Medical Office Building with primary care and urgent care services on site. The site includes:
– 9 fully equipped exam rooms
– Laboratory with access control, dedicated investigational product storage, and centrifuge capabilities
– Temperature monitoring system for continuous oversight of ambient, fridge, and freezer conditions
– Emergency equipment (AED)
Our second location in Dublin, OH, will be opening this summer and will allow for additional convenience for local patients as well as increased clinical trial workspace for study coordinators and data entry staff.
