Clinical Associate Professor Kurt Gebauer has been practicing Dermatology for over 25 years in Australia and is renowned in the medical community. His current positions include Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Western Australia, lecturer, educator and Medical Dermatological specialist. He also holds a Diploma in Sports Medicine issued by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
A contributing author on many publications, Clinical Associate Professor Gebauer is a recognized authority on dermatological conditions. He is also a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and the Australasian College of Phlebology. He has been a Director of Fremantle Dermatology since joining the clinic in 1992, and has numerous research interests, particularly in the evaluation and development of innovative pharmaceutical agents used in the treatment of dermatological conditions.
Cl. A/Prof. Gebauer currently sits on a number of advisory boards and has participated in numerous international master classes. He has co-chaired the “All About Acne” educational group for the past decade. Cl. A/Prof. Gebauer is a long-term supporter of the Lions Cancer Screening Program and was formerly providing rural services to the Albany region.
In 2022, Clinical Associate Professor Gebauer was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for his services to medicine in the field of Dermatology.
